U.K Tour of Australia 2008

The Touring U.K. team had a successful and undefeated tour of Australia. The highlight was winning the match against an Australian Over 60s XI at the Hogbin-Meckiff Oval at Mentone, a suburb of Melbourne. Geoff Dymock, pictured below, was the Australian Captain and Ian Meckiff tossed the coin before the game. The win resulted in England claiming the "Sheffield Shield" which had been presented to the Australian Over 60s team which had toured England in 2007.
